This script's main task is to hide all objects ( all nodes with a geometry ) except the one(s) currently selected
but also
un-hide all objects
hide the selected object(s)
frame the currently selected node(s)
aim the camera at the selected node
This script was created following a suggestion by Daz3D.com forum member Ruphuss
August 13th 2018 noon - version 3 fixed issues with selected bones with unselected skeletons
August 13th 2018 7:44PM - you can now select just the root/skeleton of a figure and there wont be issues like the bones are all hidden even if the root isnt and the result is we cant see a dang thing
November 6th 2014 1:34 pm - fixed the issue cause by the fact that a bone can be selected without the root skeleton being selected
November 5th 2014 1:37 pm - bones and skeletons now take part in the hide and show game - the 'Hide Selected' button is now a 'Hide/Show Selected' button
November 4th 2014 8:12 pm - released

The zip package is found at the bottom of this page
unzip it in your daz content folder, typically
C:\Program Files\DAZ\Studio\content\
or
C:\Program Files (x86)\DAZ\Studio\content\
once installed, it will appear in your content library, under Studio / Scripts / mcasual
or
C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library\

select a node ( usually a node with a geometry )
launch the script
press one of the 5 action buttons
notes : Hide All But Selected, Hide Selected and Show All Objects operate on nodes that own a geometry ,
in the case of a Figure in Daz Studio 4, that's the root node, in older versions of D|S bone-nodes own the geometry
We avoid hiding and un-hiding d-forms, cameras and lights because it often creates more problems than it solves
for example a Victoria 4 figure can have a whole lot of D-Forms that re best kept hidden
note: "Pivot Cam Toward" aims the current camera at the selected node (primary selection ), it doesn't attempt to frame the object itself
It also makes great effort not to Z-Rotate your camera.
