Economic Systems Presentation

Now it's time to present and defend your thoughts over economic systems.

Create a presentation over your economics paper using Open Office Impress. Focus on how you feel about your economic system, but be sure to defend your position with enough reason and evidence.

Presentation has no minimum time, but must answer these questions (as a minimum):

• • What is an economic system?

  • Which system did you choose?

  • How is this system different from the others?

  • Which countries use this system (or have used)?

  • Who does this system help the most (rich or poor)? Why

  • Do you feel like this is a fair system? Why or why not?

Be creative with this! Use pictures, graphics, and even video clips to get your points across.

You will be graded based on:

• • Presentation answers all questions – 60 points

  • Open Office Impress is used effectively – 20 points

  • Uses good presentation skills – 20 points

    • Few “umms, yeahs” and other filler words

    • Shows confidence and enthusiasm

    • Stays under 5 minutes

    • Makes eye contact with audience

    • Does not just read from slides or notes
