Advertisement

So you have something to sell and a well-planned business, but now there's only one problem remaining - no one knows about it!

To solve this problem, you will need to design an advertisement show-casing your products and/or services and making them appeal to potential customers. If you have a partner, you may work with them but you will each need to submit a different advertisement for grading.

You have three options for this assignment:

1. Create a flyer

2. Create a full-page newspaper advertisement

3. Design the home-page for a website (speak to me first if you choose this option)

To accomplish this, you may use either Open Office Draw or Open Office Writer

You will be graded on:

20 points - professionalism - would you be proud to have your ad represent you?

30 points - graphics - AT LEAST three pictures or images (only two required for newspaper ad)

10 points - company contact information (address - if applicable, website, phone number, etc)

20 points - appeals to customers (would make people want your product/service)

10 points - contains your company's slogan

10 points - spelling and grammar are perfect
