Writing book on the early history of the ALSPAC Ethics and Law Committee, interviewing ALSPAC grandparents for transgenerational epigenetic study.

Establishing the ALSPAC Administrative Archive, creating the fully digitalised ALSPAC Ethics Archive and recording oral history interviews from significant individuals involved in the planning and implementation of the study.

As ALSPAC Research Ethics Manager, ensuring all ALSPAC ethics approvals and governance processes in place while simultaneously Secretary of the ALSPAC Ethics & Law Committee (from 1999).

Supervised team of nurses & midwives extracting, processing & cleaning data from 8000 obstetric and neonatal records. Project managed several ALSPAC sub-studies (for example carbon monoxide study, noise study).

Job-shared the project management of randomised controlled trial (asthma and house dust mite) and simultaneously conducted home interviews and videos for ALSPAC Twins Language Study (covering colleague’s maternity leave).

Appointed, trained and supervised team of medical data abstractors for study on Cancer in Childhood and Vitamin K. Simultaneously piloted ALSPAC questionnaires & biological sample collection (antenatal urine, placentas and cord blood for cell line development).
