The Shareable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) is a set of technical standards that allows reusable learning objects (RLOs) to be easily transferred between compliant software platforms. This standard ensures that e-learning content and Learning Management Systems (LMS) can communicate with each other. Compliance with SCORM standards makes the learning object usable in any LMS regardless of what software was used to develop it. For more information, see SCORM explained.
