Mendocino - May 4, 2006
May 1 | May 2 | May 3 | May 4 | May 5
We drove to the next town north, Fort Bragg, on day 4. We met a well known local watercolor artist, Mariko Irie in one of her studios. We did not recognize her at first, but she introduced herself to us, which was really nice of her. We knew about her beforehand since we just saw her art work displayed the day before at the Mendocino Art Gallery. It was really nice to meet her in person.
We drove back home after visiting a few galleries in downtown Fort Bragg. This is another picture from our window. It was a bit overcast that day.
After enjoying some appetizers at the Brewery Gulch Inn, we decided to go out to dinner for the first time during our last night there in Mendocino. We picked the Mendocino Cafe based on their menu which was available at the Inn. The selection was good and the price was reasonable and it had good reviews. So, we headed off to the cafe. Here is Joel enjoying some nice cold water before the dinner. Joel had some blackened red snapper with mashed potatoes and asparagus and I had baby shrimp with some pasta.
That's it for Day 4.
