Two Beaches (9" x 12 ")
(July 22, 2006) Here I was trying to show two different sceneries at the same time. One scenery is a bright beach with overhanging palm branches; whereas, the other is a night scene with a lighthouse. Which one would you rather see? Here I wanted people to think about what they are looking at.
An earlier Diamonds painting inspired me to do this.
Alaskan Landscape (9" x 12")
Mountains in Alaska with snow on the background and some pink flowers on the foreground. There is also a couple walking in the middle of the painting. That couple is suppose to be me and my husband. I painted this after we went on an Alaskan cruise.
