Mendocino - May 3, 2006
May 1 | May 2 | May 3 | May 4 | May 5
We drove to downtown Mendocino on the third day and walked around the cliffs. The paths were so nice!
Here are some more pictures...
Isn't this beautiful?! We had a nice time praying along the cliffs since the views were so inspiring!
We went downstairs to the beach and it was just dreamy out there. We also found a huge red abalone shell which was so colorful. It had this pearl-like color on the inside. There were so few people there that the whole place seemed unreal.
Joel enjoying the beach walk. The tide was so low, can you tell from the rocks?
Me and Joel. Joel took the picture.
Me next to this unusually positioned giant rock. It looks like some monster coming out of the ocean or it could be the rear end of a sinking wooden ship. What do you think?

Up the stairs from the beach we passed by this beautiful, small church.
After all that hiking, we had a late lunch. Here Joel is enjoying some ice tea.
Me too!
This is where we had lunch. We were upstairs at the leftmost corner.
After lunch, we walked some more. We found this road sign with a heart on it. Joel thinks it's pointing to me and I think it is pointing to him since he is such a sweetheart :)
That's it for Day 3.
