A Contentious Issue - What is it?
Underpinning the focus on learning this AEI subject [Arguments, Evidence and Intuition], Housego (2016) states that "a Contentious Issue is an issue that arises in the development of proposals and policies for what governments and communities should do with the resources available to them."
From the above notion, in order to recognize and/or raise an contentious issue, a chosen topic for that issue [on this webpage this issue is called the Simon Housego Contentious Issue] needs to include matters linking toward:
-the development of proposal and policies, and
-the decisions made by governments and/or communities, and
-the allocation of available resources.
Why is the Simon Housego Contentious Issue important?
