What is it?
The Bandwagon Fallacy refers to arguments that appeal to the growing popularity of an idea as a reason for accepting it as true. This fallacy, also known as the appeal to the people, belongs to the group of Informal Fallacy or Fallacy of Relevance (Almossawi 2014; Study.com 2016)
