What is Data?
Data refer to facts and statistics collected together for reference or analysis; on its web page, MathisFun (2014) defines data is a collection of facts, such as numbers, words, measurements, observations or even just descriptions of things.
For our understanding of Data, this needs to know about Simple Statistics, Mean, Median, Mode, Range.
According to this site, Data can be qualitative or quantitative.
Importantly, 'making sense of data and statistics requires an ability to interpret and reflect on numerical and statistical information in a variety of documents.' (Green, 2016)
