LWV POSITIONS
As our League has evolved to work in coordination with federal and state guidance, many of our positions align as indicated below. In 2023, a team of members reviewed and referenced our local positions with state and national positions to improve efficiency and DEI standards. Please review dates and timelines for relative context*.
*In 2009 LWV-Neenah/Menasha and LWV Oshkosh merged to form LWV of Winnebago County. Positions written prior to this date may have been specific to those areas and local needs, rather than reflecting an inclusive countywide study. All positions have since been adopted by full membership of the LWV of Winnebago County.
