What we do...

We study key public policy issues and take action to support our views. We hold periodic community forums on topics related to current League studies or governmental issues.

Our current local area of focus is DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion).

Past Studies

Join us at these activities:

  • Food for Thought Luncheons - Feature speakers on various city, county, school, state and national topics of interest to League members. These luncheons are held at noon on the second Wednesday of every month at the Oshkosh Food Co-Op, 155 Jackson St., Oshkosh. See the latest newsletter for details. Meetings are always open to the public.

  • Neenah Menasha Breakfast - Members gather on periodic Saturday mornings to discuss issues of LWV interest. See the newsletter for details.

  • Candidate Forums throughout Winnebago County Prior to each primary and general election, we sponsor candidate forums in the Neenah, Menasha and Oshkosh areas. Oshkosh forums are co-sponsored and televised live by Oshkosh Media and posted on Oshkosh Media YouTube channel. We also assist with voter registration and education about Photo Voter ID requirements.

  • Lively Issues Program Planning. Early each year we meet as a league to discuss current concerns and decide direction based on the community needs and member interest. This is one of the main drivers of our work all year. Watch our calendar for dates and location.
