In 2015 I participated in a Steps Challenge to do 10,000 steps per day for two plus months. I was very successful, only missing the goal once when I was sick over the 69 days. As preparation for Mt. Princeton, I will start more modestly with a weekly goal of 40,000 steps to begin with. I think the long term goal will be more attainable if I keep things manageable. As with the previous challenge, I am posting my results here online as a form of accountability. Feel free to comment if I'm not keeping up!
