I have almost 44,000 individuals in my personal family tree, which specializes in Mennonites and German-speaking people with roots in eastern Europe. You can find a list of all the surnames found in my database on my Surnames page. I have also done about three dozen family trees for others ranging from a few hundred individuals to several thousand.

Even if you do not read German fluently, there are valuable genealogical data available in certain genealogical sources in German, which can be extracted with a bit of basic vocabulary. My German genealogy terms page could help you out.
If those German genealogical sources are in older handwriting or printed characters, you might find help in deciphering the words on my German Scripts page.
