Thank you,

Hello Lincoln Speech and Debate students and families.,

As we begin the 2021-2022 season, I am sure everyone has a lot of questions. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing pandemic, there are less answers than I would prefer. What I can tell you is that we have the go-ahead to resume in-person practices for the time being. Mandatory team meetings will begin on Tuesday, September 28th from 4:00 - 6:00 pm in the Lincoln High School Cafeteria (and will continue to be Tuesdays at 4:00pm). Our first meeting will be to introduce myself to the team, and introduce new coaching staff, as well as hear from our captains about their plans for the season. Wednesday afternoons will be the opportunity for Individual Events, Congress, and Practice Rounds.

Our first team tournament will be the virtual Sandy Kickoff on October 16th. There are few tournaments on the actual schedule at this point, as schools determine whether or not in-person or virtual is best for their students. I will continue to update everyone as the tournament schedule becomes more concrete.

Please monitor the Google Groups for information regarding team dues, code of conducts, parent/volunteer needs, and more. I will get the Calendar updated shortly.

Thank you so much for your patience as I take over for the 21-22 debate season. I look forward to working with everyone, and a successful debate year!

Ben Harrison- Head Coach
