This team is more than a competitive activity. It is a community built on courage, curiosity, and growth. Students learn to think critically, speak with confidence, collaborate effectively, and engage thoughtfully with the world around them. Whether your student is brand new to public speaking or already experienced, there is a place for them here.

Speech & Debate challenges students academically while also helping them build lifelong skills in leadership, advocacy, research, and teamwork. The work is rigorous, but it is also energizing, creative, and deeply rewarding. Students form strong friendships, push each other to improve, and celebrate each other’s successes.
