About this Website

This website originally came about when the Countryside Agency awarded the God's Acre Group at Letton a Local Heritage Grant in respect of the churchyard at St John the Baptist Church in Letton. The grant, awarded in 2004, has facilitated a village wide project to conserve and enhance the churchyard, its heritage and long term care, to raise public awareness and understanding of the churchyard and included many participation activities including workshops, exhibitions, surveys and events.
