Welcome to the village of Letton!
Letton is one of Herefordshire's ancient villages and can trace its history back for over a thousand years.
Letton is a small parish, with fewer than 40 households and 100 inhabitants.
It is located 12 miles west of Hereford on the Brecon Road (A438).
The eastern half of the parish falls under the remit of Staunton Parish Council and the western half under Kinnersley and District Group Parish Council.
It's church, dedicated to St John the Baptist, has origins dating back to Norman times.
The church parish is part of the Weobley and Staunton Group of Parishes.

First GROUP SERVICE in Letton for several years.
In fact, first since vestry flooded and bread had to be begged from Swan Inn as church warden had failed in her duties.
To fill in the time there was an informal singing of hymns as bread was sought. This event is hopefully more dutifully planned.
