In a 3-quart pot (make sure you can find the lid, you will need it later), cook the 4 strips of bacon using medium low heat on the stove until the bacon is crispy. Remove bacon with tongs and set on a paper towel. Add popcorn to the rendered bacon fat in the pot, turn stove to low, and put the lid on the pot. Shake the pot every 15 seconds until the popcorn is done popping; you will be able to tell from the sound. Pour popcorn out of the pot into a bowl. Finely chop the crisp bacon and sprinkle over the top of the popcorn, Garnish with bacon salt. Gently shake the bowl to distribute salt and bacon crumbs evenly.
Notes
100% grated parmesan cheese (the kind you can shake in the green can) is a great addition.
