ER Day 169

Today we will:

Learn what happens if you swallow a bug

Read chapters 9 and 10 of "Mr. Popper's Penguins"

Take a timed math facts test (Set the timer for 1 min and work until it rings. You should be able to do 36 problems with zero mistakes in one minute to move up to the next test)

Play a math facts game (this should be the same set of facts you are testing on tomorrow)

Watch a movie about pumping water without electricity

Review all you've learned about economics

Listen to music from "The Wizard of Oz"

Practice choosing the correct punctuation

Practice telling and writing time to the minute

Make popcorn balls

You will need:

A copy of "Mr. Popper's Penguins"

Printer and paper

Pen or pencil

1/2 cup Corn syrup

1/2 cup Molasses

1 1/2 cubes butter (3/4 cup)

8 cups Popped popcorn
