Aldous Leonard Huxley (July 26, 1894 Goldalming, UK - November 22, 1963, LA, USA),  was an English writer, philosopher, most specifically known to the public for his novels, especially Brave New World, written in 1931 and published in 1932. He was the son of the English schoolteacher and writer Leonard Huxley (1860 - 1933).
