The Bylaws and Protective Covenants of Lake Forest at Rolling Hills were created for the mutual benefit of all residents within the development. These rules help to maintain the beauty of the development and maintain your home's value. If you have any questions about the protective covenants, please contact one of the Board members.

Covenants that help keep our neighborhood looking great

  • Close garage doors. This looks better AND is a deterrent.

  • Pick up after your pets. No one wants to step in poo!

  • Do not dump leaves and other debris on vacant lots or in the common areas.

  • Do not park campers and/or large trucks overnight and longer.

  • No advertising signs other than realtor signs.

  • Park cars in driveways or garages. If left in the street, they pose a safety issue for other drivers and pedestrians.

  • Each house shall have a light in front of the driveway. Post light shall come on at dusk.

  • Trash containers should not be seen from the street (except on trash pickup day).

Safety Tips

  • Turn on your lamp posts at night.

  • Park in the driveway, not on the street. A child could dart out from behind a parked car and get run over. Parked cars create a hazard for school buses and for emergency vehicles, and you run the risk of someone hitting your car.

  • Don't let your children drive golf carts around the neighboorhood. Legal age is 16.

  • Slow down when driving and adhere to the 25 mph speed limit.

  • Keep small children away from ponds. Please, no fishing for unsupervised children. No walking on the waterfalls.

  • Do not allow children to play in cul-de-sac and/or common area islands. These are not meant to be a playground.
