Gadgetron

Gadgetron is an open source framework for medical image reconstruction developed by M. Hansen and T. Sørensen [Hansen and Sørensen, MRM 2013].

We will indicate here the required setup procedure for development and usage on a Windows and Linux machine.

First the key prerequisites are described and afterwards an exemplary Gadgetron setup procedure on a Windows machine with access to a PET/MR scanner (Siemens Biograph mMR, VB20P) is demonstrated.

We developped a comfortable user interface to configure, manage and reconstruct the Gadgetron framework: GadgetronControl
