About Passionscope

Passionscope is a dream come true to me. It was born out of months of research into human interest alignment  conducted  by myself and my team of UW researchers together with the software development abilities of my LLC, Four Corners Software. 

Passionscope helps students identify their salient personally traits and align them with optimal careers.

“Passionscope” and its benefits

We created the software “Passionscope” with the vision of modeling human interest so that young people all over the nation may get the opportunity to do the following.

1.      Students Identify their salient vocational interests using a research-validated tool.

2.      Students align these interests with the best careers in their favorite job clusters using a research-validated alignment.

3.      Students get customized reports (created instantly) where they can learn everything they need to know about each career (Tasks, skills, work activities, technology skills, work context, Training and credentials, knowledge, etc.)

4.      Teachers can easily create teams of students with specific personality traits and conduct customized activities for these teams.

5.     Mentors  can create events (Targeted to specific personalities) for kids from several schools and send invitations instantly.

6.      Mentors have admin privileges where they can help students discover new career clusters and jobs students are more aligned with.

7.      Each school  can have an employee corner where local employees can offer internships to the students, aligning the personality/vocational interest vectors of the students with more than 950 possible jobs.

8.      Besides hosting events, mentors  can have an online shop to sell/gift SWAGs to students to celebrate their salient personality traits.

9.      Emotional intelligence is critical to today’s workplace. Students can measure their emotional intelligence and access resources/training to improve it.

10.   Passionscope will be fully customized to a institution-specific environment.

The Models developed use models created by the well-known American Psychologist John Holland, a team of University of Wisconsin Professors (in Computer Science and Mathematics), and the US Department of Labor. Four Corners LLC, Madison, WI, ((https://fourcornerssoftware.com/ ) does the software development and the productization. Four Corners Software LLC also has a subsidiary, which offers a total E-learning platform that can integrate with Passionscope (https://fourcornerssoftware.com/passionscope/ ) to help deliver people skills training related to specific jobs to interested students (once careers are identified).
