As part of as well as separately from my work with Essential Partners, I explore questions around the significance of interventions using dialogic and bridge-building approaches. This work includes micro-level explorations of individual transformation resulting from participating in dialogic activities (such as training in dialogic pedagogy) or formal dialogues, as well as research at a larger scale. A recent project completed with Conflict Resolution MA student (now graduate) Gabrielle Mathews mapped and analyzed the current state of bridge-building and depolarizing efforts in the United States. This area of work also encompasses research I conducted over a number of years in Israel, focused on grassroots educational initiatives bringing together Jewish and Palestinian youth.
