Measuring Networked Peacebuilding
This project, with my colleague Jeffrey Pugh, explores the role of networks in motivating engagement in peacebuilding and social change, and how these networks are linked to participation in peacebuilding education and training programs. The first phase of our project mapped the field of peace and conflict international education (PCIE) programs to understand how they might establish and strengthen networks that facilitate engagement in the peacebuilding and social change realms. Our current work uses surveys and oral history interviews with current peacebuilders/social change activists as well as with alumni of PCIE programs to gather empirical evidence about the the "networked impact" of PCIE programs. You can learn more about the project here.
