We are excited to have an on-site option again this year! Those of us that use distance learning on a regular basis know how important in-person time can be! This year's distance learning in-service will focus on tools and strategies for your classrooms. We hope that you are able to attend either in person or we will also have a Zoom option available.

Location: ESSDACK Service Center, 1500 E 11th Ave #200, Hutchinson, KS 67501 (Zoom option also available)
Cost: Free to KAIDE Member Networks & East Central BOCES district distance learning teachers/facilitators.
$25 fee to a non-network teacher. If you are unsure of your affiliation, select "unsure" on the registration and we will contact you.

Whiteboards BEYOND Meetings!
Zoom Advanced Whiteboard is an amazing tool for soliciting individual participation from mobile devices during a live class session, but did you know that you could use this amazing tool after class or before class as well? Zoom Whiteboard can be easily shared into online coursework and with its infinite size, can be an amazing canvas for student projects or portfolio work. During this session, we'll get hands-on with Zoom's new advanced whiteboard and explore all you can do to leverage it while engaging your learners.

Call for Proposals!
Register by December 15, 2023 to submit a proposal. If you are interested in being a presenter, we would LOVE to have you! We want you to be able to help and learn from teachers and staff that currently work with distance learning.
What we are looking for:
Tools that you use in your classroom (apps, websites, etc..) that help you with distance learning and would help others!
Strategies that you have implemented in the distance learning scenario improve instruction.
Anything that you as a distance learning instructor have found valuable that you can share with peers!
