2019 February In-Service
This year's in-service featured lots of apps and tools for the distance learning classroom. Several awesome teachers presented on how they use these these tools and were able to demonstrate to other teachers.

GooseChase Activity - Participants started off the day with a new game on their devices. This game can be played virtually for remote students. There is a free version that you can access as well as a paid version with more features. A lot of fun!
PearDeck & GimKit Interactive Tools - teacher presentations on how they use these tools in their distance learning classrooms.
Intro to Padlet & Flipgrid - teacher presentations on how they use these tools in their distance learning classrooms.
Zoom Updates & Tools - New features were shown from Zoom.
GooseChase Discussion Groups - The activity that was started in the morning was talked about and how things were progressing.
Networking - Discussion time is very beneficial to the attendees to be able to talk about issues and successes as a group and discuss questions.
Nearpod Uses in the IDL Classroom - An interactive tool that a teacher presented how it was being used in their classroom.
Intro to Microsoft Apps - presentation on how this can be used.
Interactive Tools & Apps - The group discussed tools that they used and apps that were useful. Lots of ideas were given.
