Teachers working together across several networks participated in this in-service to learn new strategies and tools for the distance learning classroom. Facilitators also participated in the in-service to meet the teachers and add insight to classroom management and student interaction.

Classroom Scenario Activity
The sites participated in an IDL class mock up scenario. They worked through common problems such as technical issues, homework not getting to sites in a timely manner. Each issue was discussed how to handle it and how to have a plan in case of issues.

Mark Dodge from Greenbush presented several ways to engage students in the IDL class scenario.
Zoom Updates
Zoom has introduced several new features. Virtual background with a green screen. Polling when teaching from the Zoom platform. Screen sharing from multiple devices. Group messaging and breakout rooms.
