2022 Professional Development Series

Even though we couldn't be in person, we were excited to offer several sessions during February 2022 for distance learning teachers. We had this webinar-style format to give teachers the ability to still learn and grow in the distance learning field without having to manage being out of the classroom. You could choose to attend one or all of them.

Cost: Free for member network distance learning teachers or $25 (all sessions) for non-member districts

Time: Each session will be held 4-5pm CT

Registration: CLOSED

Recording: Each session will be recorded and available to view after the presentation for a limited time for anyone that is registered.

Session Title: Creative Assessments with Screencastify

Description: Creative Assessments with Screencastify will show teachers everything they need to know to start or keep using video as a tool for assessment in their classroom. Educators will learn to build video assessments, use video as evidence of learning, and provide feedback through video as well

Session Title: Hands-On Anatomy Virtual Workshop - Using the Anatomy in Clay Learning System

Description: Looking for a way to engage students in hands-on learning in remote, distance-learning situations? If so, then this presentation is for YOU! This virtual presentation offers teachers a visual and kinesthetic method to improve learning of human anatomy using TORZIKENTM & Maniken® models and clay. Workshop participants will be introduced to a hands-on approach to teaching where these models and a document camera can really help bring learning to life!
