Day 1: Introductions, Dates, Zoom Rules, and Course Overview

Next week, we will take a selfie with our bookmark and learn how to write about it in a google document.

Attendance Roster - Fill out the TGH registration form. Ms. Blake will verify that you appear on the attendance roster, then you can leave.

Day 2: Google drive, google docs and gmail

Take a selfie with your bookmark and write about it in a google document.

Based on my video on how to make a google document (on youtube), write an about us document.

Use your own name, take a photo of yourself with your parent and the bookmark you made, type three things that I should know about you, then Share the document with me ablake@bostonpublicschools.org.

Day 3: Google slides

Make a presentation on tigers (or your choice of animal).

Next TGH Distance Learning Course: February 2 - 16

Dates: February 2, 4, 7, 14, 16 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm Limited to 15 spots for our students in grades 3-5. The course is full. I sent the zoom link in email to participating students and their parents.

TGH Course Description:

Quincy Elementary School is Collaborating with C-STEAM Futures and TGH to host a FREE, Parent-Child STEAM and coding program.

A parent or caregiver must attend all sessions with a student and participate in all activities. You must complete 15 hours free computer skills training.

How do you know if you got a spot? It's a lottery, NOT first come first serve. If you did not get a text message or phone call from Ms. Blake or Ms. Su, then unfortunately you did not get a spot.
