You can thin the barrier between Midgard and Muspelheim, creating an alka.
Pull 6 runes from the bag.
You may place them anywhere nearby in a contiguous structure (at least one rune must be considered nearby)
Anyone who is on a rune or moves through a rune is Weakened (-4 to attacks and defense) from the intense heat for 1 round. Staying in the zone will reapply the condition.
You can ákalla (invoke) Surtr’s name for protection, lashing out at your foes when they attack.
The first time an enemy engages you, make an opportunity attack against that enemy. On a hit, you deal +2d8 fire damage with that attack (epic: +4d10) and daze the foe until the end of its turn, if the creature is large or smaller (epic - any size)
You can perform a blöt, sacrificing a portion of your essence to Surtr, and impart Fire into your attacks.
Spend a recovery. On your next attack, your damage dice are maximized, hit or miss. Also, the attack type changes to Fire.
