Surtr gave this knowledge out to his agents to lure others to his cause with the promise of power.

    • You can thin the barrier between Midgard and Muspelheim, creating an alka.

      • Pull 6 runes from the bag.

      • You may place them anywhere nearby in a contiguous structure (at least one rune must be considered nearby)

      • Anyone who is on a rune or moves through a rune is Weakened (-4 to attacks and defense) from the intense heat for 1 round. Staying in the zone will reapply the condition.

    • You can ákalla (invoke) Surtr’s name for protection, lashing out at your foes when they attack.

      • The first time an enemy engages you, make an opportunity attack against that enemy. On a hit, you deal +2d8 fire damage with that attack (epic: +4d10) and daze the foe until the end of its turn, if the creature is large or smaller (epic - any size)

    • You can perform a blöt, sacrificing a portion of your essence to Surtr, and impart Fire into your attacks.

      • Spend a recovery. On your next attack, your damage dice are maximized, hit or miss. Also, the attack type changes to Fire.
