About This Course

Course Description:

Digital Logic focuses on the interconnection amongst digital components and modules as it relates to design and analysis of computing systems.  This course covers basic concepts of the binary system, logic gates, combination logic, memory elements, sequential logic, processors and control logic design.  Prerequisites for this course are CSC 231 Assembly Language and Math 143 Calculus I.    

Text Book:

Logic and Computer Design Fundamentals, 4th Edition,  M. Morris Mano & Charles Kime.

    2. There will be random quizzes in class, which are closed book and 50% is counted as participation.

    3. Generally, no make-up quizzes; Make-up exams will only be given in extreme documented cases.

    4. Question about grading must be presented to the instructor within one week after the tests or quizzes have been returned. 

    5. Class attendance is mandatory. You are responsible for the notes and announcements made in the classroom.

    6. All grades will be posted to http://scholar360.com/benedictcollege/. So make sure you have an account. A= 85-100 B= 75-85 C= 65-75 D= 55-65 F= 0-55
