Course Goal and Objectives:

It introduces the concept of business programming. It will show students how today’s industry pressures and business challenges mandate renewal of the contract between organizations and their IT assets and people. And it illustrates how a service-oriented approach to IT can help organizations go through the necessary transformation. The COBOL language will be introduced as well. The prerequisite is CSC132 or CSC135 or permission of the instructor. No prior programming experience is assumed, but you should already have some experience using a computer. 

Grading Policy:

- NO late homework / assignment will be accepted.

- Question about grading must be presented to the instructor within one week after the exam or quizzes have been returned.

- Benedict College SEE grading policy will be observed in determining your grade. See the attached table for the overall grade determination.
