2022 - Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) Open Water SCUBA Diver Certification
2022 - Treasurer of the Kijiji Viongozi (elders), Village Church
2021 - The Color of History Podcast, co-producer (forthcoming), about my great, great grandfather Luke Grady, produced with my uncle Kenneth Grady.
2020 - Nominated and elected to become an Elder of the Village Church, serving as Vice Chair.
2020 - Graduated from the MC3 pre-apprenticeship building trades program.
2020 - Earned CPR Certification.
2020 - Earned OSHA 10 Certification.
2020 - Wrote a proposal that resulted in a $10,000 grant for TAP.
2019 - Wrote a proposal that resulted in a $5000 grant for the Tennessee Aquatics Project Development Group, Inc. (TAP).
2018 - Celebrated 5 years of working out at Wholesale Fit, a free cross-fit facility in Madison, TN. Closed but continue to exercise.
2018 - Began service as Secretary of the Isaac Litton Middle School Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO).
2018 - Learned to use Canva.com.
2017 - Elected to the Board of the Tennessee Society for Association Executives, and have been chair of the Awards Committee since 2016.
Joined the middle TN team, sewing one element of Days for Girls Hygiene Kits.
2017 - Began my businesses, On My Heart T-Shirts and OMH Trees.
2017 - Helped my first Creative Client set goals and solve scheduling, publicity and customer expectation issues.
2016 - Completed organizing and cataloging the library for NIA House Montessori.
2016 - Began a project called Beyond February, to teach children about African and African-American history once a month.
2015 - Chaired my family reunion, which started with $78 as seed money. I carefully managed expenses and negotiated, while being simultaneously committed to adding new features like high quality catered meals and a tour of Nashville. We ended with more than $2000 in seed money for the 2018 reunion!
2015 - Invited to the Executive Board of Our Kids Center, serving as Secretary until 2017.
2015 - Served as a leader in the planning and execution of my church's move to a new location, which included a furniture sale, promotion, site selection, move-in, and the open house. All went swimmingly well.
2015 - Volunteered at Soup Sunday, races, and other community events.
2015 - Wrote a tribute resolution for an exemplary professional, which was presented at a national conference.
2014-2015 - Biking and walking on lots of Greenways.
2014 - Assisted with the renovation of the building for a new Montessori academy, including painting, cabinet installation, and landscape clean-up.
2011 - Completed P90x.
2010 - Began my bread pudding blog.
2007 - Became a mom to my darling daughter.
