PE 9: Sports Activities for Life

Success is a piece of mind that is the direct result of self satisfaction in knowing you did your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming.-John Wooden

Sport Activities for Life (PE 9) is the introductory course to the physical education department at the high school level at Bloomington Jefferson. It is a required class by our district that all students must take and pass in order to graduate from high school. The course requires physical fitness testing through out the tri. This includes the mile run, sit and reach, pushups, sit-ups, flex arm hang, & shuttle run. During the tri, the students will also be exposed to units that consist of team/individual games. Basic rules and skills are taught with an emphasis on TEAMWORK and SPORTSMANSHIP.
