Could not Find Program Unit when Connecting to Apps [ID 229399.1]

· symptom: APP-FND-01926 : The custom event WHEN-LOGON-CHANGED raised

· unhandled exception

·

· symptom: ORA-6508 : PL/SQL : Could not find program unit being called

·

· change: The error appears before the signon connecting to

· "http://<host>.<domain>:<port>/dev60cgi/f60cgi"

· after regenerating some forms and libraries.

·

· cause: The FNDSCSGN form and its attached libreries are out of sync.

·

·

Checked for relevance on 30-APR-2008

fix:

1) Shutdown the Forms / Apache Servers

2) Generate the FNDSCSGN Attached Libraries Manually :

The following Libraries are attached to form FNDSCSGN:

APPCORE, APPCORE2, APPDAYPK, APPFLDR, APPTREE, CUSTOM,

FNDAPLT, FNDATTCH, FNDCONC, FNDSQF,

FV, GHR, GLOBE, GMS, HRKPI, IGILUTIL, IGILUTIL2,

JA, JE, JL, OPM, PQH_GEN, PSA, PSAC, PSB,

VERT, VERT1, VERT2, VERT3, VERT4, VERT5.

Also the following Menus :

FNDMENU.mmb, FNDSCSGN.fmb

All of them must be regenerated correctly

2) After regenerating the libraries manually, Regenerate the FND Forms from

adadmin as follows :

Execute adadmin :

$ adadmin

Select the option : 2. Maintain Applications Files menu

Select the option : 8. Generate form files

Answer the following for the adadmin questions :

Do you want to regenerate Oracle Forms PL/SQL library files [Yes] ? Yes

Do you want to regenerate Oracle Forms menu files [Yes] ? Yes

Do you want to regenerate Oracle Forms menu files [Yes] ? Yes

Do you want to regenerate Oracle Forms executable files [Yes] ? Yes

Enter list of products ('all' for all products) [all] : fnd

Generate specific forms objects for each selected product [No] ? yes

Enter libraries and menus to generate, or enter 'all' [all] : all

Enter forms to generate, or enter 'all' [all] : all

3) Start Up Forms / Apache Servers

5) Delete the files in Jinitiator/Jcache on your machine

6) Login to the application using "http://<host>.<domain>:<

port>/dev60cgi/f60cgi".
