In January 2021 after years of putting up with Vancouver's perpetual rain and freezing cold I made the decision to move to somewhere with a slightly better climate. Originally I had picked Australia as I had lived there when I was younger, but Australia is extremely difficult to immigrate to at the best of times, and the ongoing COVID19 pandemic had essentially put a halt to immigration, hence Mauritius.
