Rates and Payment
Payment is expected weekly by the last day of attendance, ultimately no later than Friday. Other payment arrangements may be made if necessary (ex. bi-weekly payments), but must be pre-approved.
· If Lyle or Tina feels that this policy is being abused by any family, a late payment fee of $10 per day will apply from the 1st day following the due date until the time payment is made.
· After two separate late payment events, all future payments must be paid in advance on Monday or your first scheduled day of the week.
· At any given time, if payment is not made within ten days of the due date, services will be terminated. After 30 days delinquent, small claims court procedures will result. You will be liable for late fees and court fees if there’s a small claims case.
Daycare hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Each family will have a contracted weekly tuition amount due according to their hours and days of attendance. If there are any days absent or the actual attendance hours are occassionally less than those contracted, the full weekly rate will still be owed. This amount will be determined based off the hourly tuition rate of $2.50/hour for the 1st child and $2.00/hour for each additional child. There is a minimum of 40 hours a week for each child ($100/week for the 1st child and $80/week for each additional).
In cases of an absence for a period of two weeks or longer (ex. teachers), a 40% payment of the contracted tuition will apply for no more than 12 weeks. Your child may attend care for the paid hours. This fee is due at expected weekly times to maintain any position(s). After 12 weeks, the fees will adjust to the regular rate. These absences must be pre-arranged with a new signed contract.
You have the option to pay Little Giggles Daycare electronically via PayPal or Memberst 1st Community Credit Union, in addition to cash, check or money order. For any families who are Members 1st customers and would like to avoid the hassle and cost of writing checks, just give Members 1st a call and have them transfer money to "Lyle or Tina Schlemme" account. You can also pay online with PayPal, which is a great option if you ever get caught short or run out of checks. What a great time-saver and cost-effective way to pay your provider!
Please make all checks payable to "Tina Schlemme". There will be a $25 charge on all returned checks. After two returned checks, payment must be made on a cash only basis.
Gift cards are available to purchase for any monetary amount. A perfect gift from family or friends for the holidays or special occasion.
Receipts will be given annually in a statement at the end of the year for tax purposes.
