Policies

New policies and contracts must be signed annually. This will generally be done by the beginning of January. The reason for new contracts and policies annually is so new policies can be implemented and prices can be adjusted, if necessary, to current status.

There will be a two week trial period in which either party may terminate the agreement for any reason and at anytime. Normal weekly fees will apply and will not be refunded. This applies to new enrollees only and is not relevant to annual renewal contracts.

There are many forms that we must have completed and in our possession before we can assume the responsibility of caring for your child. You are required to keep us informed of any changes in jobs, addresses, telephone numbers, additional childhood immunizations or other pertinent information as it arises.

We maintain an open door policy for parents during operating hours. You are welcome to call us at our home phone or our cell phone at anytime. If we don't answer, please leave a message as we may be busy with the children. We also have high speed internet and cell phones with a data plan, so our email arrives continually throughout the day. We check it frequently, so feel free to email anytime and we will usually respond within the hour. We also text message and almost always have our cell phone on or around us, so please feel free to text us anytime also.

Being a registered child care provider, we have been trained in the recognition of abuse and we are required by law to report any form of physical, sexual or emotional abuse of a child. If we notice any signs of abuse at any time, we will alert the child's parent(s) immediately both verbally and in writing, along with a full description of the symptoms. We will document the same information for ourselves and, if necessary, the proper authorities will be contacted. This includes forms of neglect, such as not using a proper child restraint in a vehicle. You may get notes about your child having bruises or scrapes without needing to fear that we suspect you of abusing your child. These notes are just to alert you of any injuries noticed and also to protect ourselves from mistaken accusations of abuse.

Little Giggles Daycare does not discrimate on the basis of race, color, gender, religion or national origin.

Little Giggles Daycare does carry commercial child care liability insurance.

The following rules and policies are not to hurt or inconvenience anyone, but to set a standard by which all must abide by.
