APRIL: The Burner Band from Leeds, who wowed the audience.

SEPTEMBER: The Slocan Ramblers from Canada. Lively Americana

OCTOBER: Chris While and Julie Matthews. Every song told a story.

DECEMBER: Lauren Housley & Band. Terrible weather, freezing snow & ice, but everyone made it! A great evening.

2021

OCTOBER: Music retrurned to Hunmanby courtsey of the brilliant FIRE & RAIN.

DECEMBER: MERRY HELL. Fantastic to have them back. Sold out full house loved every minute.

2020

FEBRUARY: STONY - they brought the house down. Fantastic. And then the pandemic hit ...

2019

SATURDAY 2 FEBRUARY BLACKBEARD'S TEA PARTY. The band had everyone rocking. Every song was full of life and the Dancing Corner went down a storm. It was a cracking night.

MAY: KRIS DREVER - a lovely guy and a great musician.

OCTOBER: SNAKE DAVIS - always first class.

NOVEMBER: FIRE & RAIN - our local talented musicians. We love having them.

2018

FRIDAY 7 DECEMBER: ANNUAL CHRISTMAS EVENING. A sell-out night again with great humour from Hunmanby Drama Club and carols from Village Brass. Mulled wine flowed and dozens of mince pies (all donated by our wonderful committee) were enjoyed. We raised the amazing sum of £877 for our funds! Warmest thanks to everyone involved.

SATURDAY 10 NOVEMBER: MERRY HELL. What a night this was. Fantastic songs, many with a message of hope and social justice. The sell-out audience just loved them. 

SATURDAY 6 OCTOBER: ANNUAL APPLE PRESSING DAY

SATURDAY 28 JULY: WOOKALILY, an all-women band all the way from Northern Ireland, wowed our audience. They were great. We loved their music.

SATURDAY 28 APRIL GRIST TO THE MILL THEATRE COMPANY presented ... THE UNKNOWN SOLDIER.                                                                               This was an amazing one-man performance, both moving and fascinating and totally absorbing.

SATURDAY 3 MARCH: THE TOM TOWNSEND BAND. A full house, despite the weather, with wonderful music and a very appreciative audience. Many thanks to Tom, the band and the crowd for turning out in foul weather and making it a great evening.

2017

FRIDAY 8 DECEMBER: ANNUAL CHRISTMAS EVENING. A fun evening with great drama from Hunmanby Drama Club and carols with Village Brass. Next year's date is Friday December 7th 2018 at 7.00 pm.

SATURDAY 11 NOVEMBER: HOLY MOLY & the CRACKERS was sold out and was a roaring success.

SATURDAY 21 OCOTBER: APPLE PRESSING DAY was a succesful and enjoyable day.                                                                                                              Hundreds of apples were turned into juice or cider for FREE.

FRIDAY 8 SEPTEMBER: THE JIGANTICS were new to Hunmanby and went down a storm. Great foot-tapping stuff. They enjoyed themselves and so did we.

FRIDAY 7 JULY: DAVE KEMP & THE UNKEMPT. A great night with Dave Kemp in Hunmanby. Wonderful music and lots of humour. A very happy audience.

SATURDAY 22 APRIL: THE HUT PEOPLE. An amazing evening with these two great guys. Never have so many instruments been played by so few! Brilliant!

SATURDAY 4 MARCH: BUFFALO SKINNERS returned to Hunmanby after a great sell out gig in September 2015. Their energetic folk-rock went down a storm and they're lovely people who had a great rapport with the audience.

2016

Friday 9 December 2016   

Annual Christmas Evening with carols from Village Brass and comedy from Hunmanby Drama Club. There was, of course, mulled wine & mince pies. And it wouldn't have been the same without Bob's Bob Up & Down Bingo!

Merry Hell - the fantastic folk/rock band. We thought they'd be good, but they were amazing! Despite being full, lots of people ended up dancing because they just couldn't keep still. Superb.

The wonderful Snake Davis & The Burden of Paradise delighted a packed community centre with their fantastic music and relaxed and friendly relationship with the audience, earning themselves a standing ovation. Brilliant.

Holy Moly & the Crackers

Wow! What a night. Hunmanby rocked. The Crackers were fantastic - talented musicians and really nice people too.

We loved hosting them.

Tour de Yorkshire May 1st 2015

The community Centre looked great and we had a fantastic day. We served refreshments and

raised over £160 for the people of Nepal. Crowds gathered outside to see the cyclists go by.

Raven Saturday 14th June 2014 with guitarist John Watton

Our Music for a Summer's Evening slot this year welcomed a return to Hunmanby for Raven.

It was an excellent evening, with a lovely atmosphere and great music.

Red Ladder Theatre Company in Wrong 'Un Saturday March 1st 2014

What a great evening! The play was a sellout with standing room only and the feedback really positive. Ella Harris was a revelation as suffragette Annie Wilde. On stage on her own for an hour. Wonderful.

Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy Saturday 23rd November 2013

The evening was a triumph for Hunmanby. Sold out, packed out and loved by all.

John Sampson's music was the perfect foil for Carol Ann's poetry.
