--To be performed by AM2 physician.
-- They are responsible for all entries up until 9am of the day of their shift.

1. At the very top of the Epic screen, four icons to the right of the “Epic” button, click on “My Dashboards”, which will open the “ED Physician Dashboard”
2. In the upper left, click on “Non Managerial Reports”
3. On the left, click on “library”
4. Use the search box to find “ED LWBS the Previous Day (7A-7A)”
5. Click on the start to the left of the report name to make it one of your “favorites”
6. Click “run” on the same line with the report name; you will see the process of the report being run at the bottom left of the screen.
7. When the report says “ready” click on the box in the lower left, which will open the report.
8. As you go through each line of the report, you will see all data associated with the visit in the bottom half of the screen – all abnormal values are colored red, including vital signs. However, any radiology studies will not be in red, so look for CT or plain film reports on the screen.
9. As you review each line, the patients name will NOT drop off, as it does in other folders – this is a report.
10. When you are done, click on the “Print” button in the upper right hand corner of your screen and click on “print list”.
11. Put a copy of the list, with your signature, in the LWBS folder on the subacute side.
After you go through this once, the “ED LWBS the Previous Day (7A-7A)” report will be in the “My Reports” tab, so you can skip steps 3 to 7 above.
