Princess Diana

Princess Diana, who died so dramatically and tragically in a car crash in Paris, was born on July 1, 1961 in Sandringham in Norfolk, England. She was a descendant of several English monarchs from times past, as Charles I, Charles II and James II. Through marriage to Prince Charles, she became the mother of the British heir to the throne Prince William and his brother, Prince Harry. Diana is considered to have been an affectionate and good mother who took great care of her sons and gave them love and attention.

Media brought much attention to Princess Diana as a style icon and also covered in detail the painful divorce with Prince Charles. As a child she had already suffered through her own parents' bitter divorce. The princess also became known for her involvement in various charities, primarily in support of the AIDS-sick and those injured by landmines.

The deadly road accident occurred shortly after midnight on 31 August 31 in 1997, in Paris, as Princess Diana was traveling with Dodi Fayed in a car chased by French paparazzi photographers in a road tunnel in much too high speed. She became 36 years.

Her birth chart looks like this:

The most prominent signs are Cancer (Sun, Mercury) and Aquarius (Jupiter, Moon, the South Lunar node). It gives a good presentation of the princess as a caring mother (Cancer) and a humanitarian committed person (Aquarius). The Ascendant in Sagittarius indicates enthusiasm and idealism, and also that she saw life as an adventure with many lessons.

The Sun in the Seventh House governs the North Lunar node in Leo and demonstrates her destiny to attain royal status (Leo) by marriage (Seventh House). Venus in Taurus in the Fifth House squaring the Lunar nodes shows that she liked (Venus) children (Fifth House) and also reflects her femininity and charisma as style icon - especially as Venus rules the Midheaven, her public appearance. Neptune in Scorpio in the Tenth House - in quindecile to Venus - suggests her humanitarian commitment and charity.

Venus trine to Saturn in Capricorn on the Second House cusp demonstrates her reliability and stability, while the square to Uranus more speaks about restlessness and relationship problems. Chiron in Pisces in Princess Diana's Second House seems to play an important role. First, it reveals a strong compassion for others (trine to Neptune) and the ability to understand and care about others' pain (trine to Mercury and the Sun in Cancer), but then again by the opposition to Mars and Pluto it reveals a more destructive side with negative passions and jealousy. The root of this seems to be connected with her childhood and the painful experience of her parents' wrenching divorce (Mars rules via Aries the Fourth House of home and family).

The Moon in conjunction with the South Lunar node in Aquarius rules the Eighth House, forming an opposition to Mars, Uranus and the North Lunar node. This also describes negative emotional patterns. The numerous and sinister planets in the Eighth House seem to forebode her violent and sudden death. The Fourth House, which is also about the end of life, is in Aries, ruled by Mars (accident) in the Eighth House (death) - a Mars that is also in conjunction with Pluto and in opposition to Chiron.
