Call To Worship (Responsive)
Leader: The world is a mess.
All: And we are on clean up.
Leader: With the state of the world - wars, poverty, power struggles, hunger, loneliness, grief…
All: there is so much to do.
Leader: We have to act as if it were possible to radically transform the world.
All: And we have to do it all the time.
Leader: Worship gives us the community, courage and call to
recognize and reveal our kingdom lives,
All: transformed by Jesus, from whom all glory shines.

Offertory Prayer (Together)
Almighty God, You have always seen those who society cast out and put at the margins. You have taught us to love them and care for them. And despite your message, our institutes of faith continue to harm those you love in what is done and left undone. We have lost touch of our common humanity with one another and left the marginalized to bear the weight of that harm. For those who have been left and forgotten, we pray, that they may know your hope despite the failures of those who act in Your name. Illumine the hypocrisy of faith, that our institutions might reconcile message and action to align with your love and care for those on the edges of our communities to draw them in, disrupt the borders of our communities and embody the kingdom that we hope for. — Rev. As We Leave This Place Of Worship
And we go our separate ways
May the God who goes before us
Guide in all our coming days.
Let us now go forth in service,
serving every creed and race;
In the spirit of true giving,
living peace and grace.
