Welcome to this new group, formed to challenge and hopefully over turn or at least have a say in what is built, with the decision made by RMBC's planning department to grant outline planning permission for a 720,00sq ft building to go ahead.

Despite opposition to this plan by various groups the council ignored the arguments put forward and voted by 8 votes to 4 to grant planning.

At the same time a group of top academics from the universities of Oxford, Liverpool, Leeds and London in a recent study have placed Hellaby as one of the most polluted areas in South Yorkshire. It's ironic that our councillors in their ignorance have voted to further pollute the area.

We are looking for new members to join the group and help support our cause. We intend to place flyers, leaflets etc to every household in our community to keep them informed
