For those of you who don’t know me my name is David Latimer. I have lived in Hellaby close to 40 years, initially on Barrie Grove and latterly on Kevin Grove. Like my wife Maggie you may have seen me, or both of us walking our dog Leo round the fields or estate.
Prior to my retirement I was in education for nearly 40 years working as a Teacher, Advisory Teacher for IT, a Deputy Head and a short spell as Acting Head.
I like to keep myself active and busy, usually walking in the Peak District once a week, looking after my garden, volunteering as a litter picker once a month, working at Wickersley library 2 mornings a week delivering an IT course and looking after our grandchildren,
I have taken on the role as Parish Councillor as I am passionate and committed about our community and the people who live here and wish to do the best I can for all concerned within our village.
