Depending on their concert time, arriving 30 minutes before each school concert is the rule of thumb.

Violins are on the left side of the auditorium.
Violas are centered leaning a little to the right.
Cellos and basses are located on the right side of the stage.
Right and left side listed are from the perspective of an audience member.

Minimum requirement is 5 minutes a day.
There will be times when 5 minutes is tricky to find in a day-- utilize the listening posts on the website and CD for beginning orchestra on the very busy days.
On days that there is more time take advantage of practicing a bit more! This is the secret formula for becoming a great musician!
