About us
A registered member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance, Happy Hours was created in 1969 to be an extension of a happy, fun-loving home environment. We believe Happy Hours should serve the needs of both children and parents from the local community.
What we do
We follow a structured curriculum that is stimulating, balanced and broad with children learning through play, first hand experiences and planned activities. We encourage children to develop their independence and complete tasks for themselves.
Communication with you
Happy Hours values two-way communication between home and staff and records parental information about a child's progress and achievements. The Pre-school holds regular parent-staff meetings.
Additional needs
Happy Hours welcomes children with special needs and employs a one-to-one Special Needs Co-ordinator. Please contact us to discuss individual requirements.
Parent involvement
Happy Hours is run by an elected committee of parents who are critical to our fundraising and key decision making. We're always looking for new members. It's a fun, fulfilling way to get involved with pre-school life and support your child in their Early Years education - without a huge time commitment.
