Bad (old) paint, paper not intended for watercolors, “cheap” brushes and imperfect mastery of the technique, these are the elephants on which the bad reputation of watercolor rests in comparison with other painting techniques.

After all, how easy it is to paint in oils. And even nicer with tempera paint. If I didn’t like it, I washed it off. Or, I sketched it on top. Yes, and you can draw (in the sense of writing) on ​​anything. From cardboard to plastic film... Of course, body painting also has its subtleties, but they are “nothing” in comparison with the requirements for painting with WATERCOLORS.
